Jaypaws

Animal Advocacy and Education

Jaypaws’ volunteers serve as animal advocates and work alongside the Lawrence Humane Society (LHS) to promote ideas related to animal safety and well-being. This program works to teach lessons, designed by LHS and taught by KU students, to all grade levels in or near Douglas County. Jaypaws aims to strengthen and advertise volunteer events at LHS and host donor drives to support animals living in the shelter.

If you are interested in participating in the Jaypaws Animal Advocacy Program in partnership with the Lawrence Humane Society, please apply here.
